Barbagallo Raceway, near Perth in Western Australia, opened in 1969 as Wanneroo Park, built by the WA Sporting Car Club. It has long hosted the Australian Superbike Championship (1990-2001, 2004-2006, 2011-2012, 2015-2016) plus WA State Superbike, Supersport and Sidecar titles. Motorcycle racing was suspended in 2016 after fatal incidents, prompting safety upgrades including a turn-three chicane, and the circuit was relicensed for bikes in 2019. The main circuit measures 2.41 km, with a shorter 1.76 km configuration linking turn five to the back straight used until its licence lapsed in 2018.
