Queensland Raceway
Ipswich, Australia
Queensland Raceway, nicknamed "the paperclip," is a 3.126 km, six-corner circuit at Willowbank near Ipswich, Queensland, opened in 1999. It was designed by Tony Slattery with input from car and motorcycle racing authorities, including CAMS circuit expert Rod Troutbeck. The flat, purpose-built layout offers strong spectator sightlines but was long criticised for bumps until a 2011 resurfacing. The circuit hosts the Australian Superbike Championship and regular motorbike ride days.
