Bahrain International Circuit
Sakhir, Bahrain
Bahrain International Circuit opened in 2004, designed by Hermann Tilke. Its 5.412 km layout is one of six configurations built on site, including a test oval and a drag strip. The track surface uses graywacke aggregate imported from Shropshire, England, valued for its high grip, and the circuit holds an FIA Grade 1 license. In 2004 it became the first Middle East venue to host a Formula One Grand Prix. The source material contains no record of motorcycle racing events held at the circuit.
