Mandalika International Street Circuit

Mandalika International Street Circuit on Lombok was designed by Mark Hughes of Mrk1 Consulting and opened in late 2021 hosting the Asia Talent Cup and Superbike World Championship, followed by Grand Prix motorcycle racing from 2022. The 4.301 km layout has 17 corners, trimmed from an earlier 19-turn design for safety and overtaking. Riders including Marc Marquez and Pol Espargaro praised its character despite early gravel and asphalt problems on the Stone Mastic Asphalt surface, which gained FIM grade A homologation in 2022. WorldSBK and Supersport World Championship rounds ran there through 2023.
