Sodegaura Forest Raceway in Chiba Prefecture opened in 2009, built to FIA standards and officially recognized by the JAF, with the layout credited to designer Shozaburo Nakamura. The 2.436 km circuit, 15 to 18 m wide, can be run in three configurations, including separate outer and inner loops, and has a 35-box pit facility. The source records no major motorcycle championship at the venue, though the track is used for motorcycle track days alongside training and vehicle presentation events.
