Motegi East Course

Motegi, Tochigi, Japan

This road course at Mobility Resort Motegi in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, was built in 1997 by Honda. It runs in a stop-start layout of straights into hairpins, and is largely flat except for a slight elevation rise near the hairpin turn. The circuit is a mainstay of motorcycle racing, hosting the Pacific motorcycle Grand Prix from 2000 to 2003 and the Japanese motorcycle Grand Prix every year since 2004, as part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing calendar. It also regularly stages national bike events including MFJ Superbikes and the Asia Road Racing Championship.
