Circuit Zandvoort Short
Zandvoort, North Holland, Netherlands
Circuit Zandvoort, located in the dunes near the Dutch North Sea coast, opened for racing in 1948, with early design input from Sammy Davis. Over the decades the track was reconfigured multiple times, ranging from a compact 1990s club layout of 2.526 km to the current 4.259 km Grand Prix configuration, featuring corners such as the Tarzanbocht hairpin and the banked Hugenholtz and Arie Luyendyk turns. It first hosted a true Formula One World Championship race in 1955. The source material contains no mention of motorcycle racing at this venue.
