Llandow Racing Circuit

Llandow, Vale of Glamorgan, United Kingdom

Length1.54 km0.96 mi
Turns8

Llandow began as a WWII airfield, converted by local farmer Jack Evans into a 1-mile oval track opened by Graham Hill in 1963. Motorbike and car events through the 1960s and 1970s drew crowds of thousands. The circuit now measures 1.45 kilometres. Its outright lap record of 41.4 seconds was set in 2009 by British Superbike rider Martin Jessopp on a Ducati 1198RS, achieved unofficially while his bike still carried long gearing from a North West 200 top-speed record run a week earlier.
