Rockingham Motor Speedway opened in Northamptonshire in 2001, combining a banked oval with infield road course layouts; the oval measured 2.380 km and the International Super Sportscar Circuit measured 3.122 km. Among its 13 track configurations, some were built to accommodate motorcycles, and the venue hosted rounds of the British Superbike Championship, including one meeting where qualifying was cancelled due to dangerous track conditions and grid positions were set by championship standings. The circuit closed to racing in 2018.
