Auto Club Speedway's road course was created in 2001, when the oval's infield was reconfigured for multipurpose road racing. The source records no major motorcycle championship events there. It notes two fatal motorcycle incidents: Ricky Lundgren died during a motorcycle race qualifying session on April 5, 2002, and John Barr died after coming off his motorcycle during an open track event on August 7, 2004. A separate 1.2-mile road course was added by Exotics Racing in 2014; no further motorcycle series are documented for either configuration.
