Brainerd International Raceway

Brainerd International Raceway, near Brainerd, Minnesota, opened in July 1968 as Donnybrooke Speedway. The complex features two overlapping road courses. The original 10-turn, 4.989 km Donnybrooke Road Course is wide and high-speed with almost no elevation change, reaching nearly 180 mph, and is used for both automotive and motorcycle racing. A newer 13-turn, 4.023 km Competition Road Course, completed in 2008, reuses the first eight turns of the original layout before diverting through the infield, also with minimal elevation change.
