NOLA Motorsports Park, designed by Alan Wilson, opened its kart circuit and North Track in the fourth quarter of 2011. East of the main track lies a short, narrow layout split lengthwise, with its south side used for smaller motorcycle races. The facility has hosted the AMA Superbike Championship. In April 2017, rider Jesus Martinez was fatally injured on this east track after colliding with another rider, an incident later ruled a racing accident caused by rider error.
